The Loneliness Epidemic
Scott has shared some great information regarding the benefits of Rotary from a wellness and connection perspective! Much has been said about the impact of loneliness and isolation on communities - and the fact is, this is an issue that reaches far beyond any one community. It is actually a public health crisis and recognized as such in many parts of the world. Research shows that strong friendships are key to better health and a longer life, but they are on the decline. What if there was a way to turn that around? Rotary isn't just a system of clubs, it's place for friendship. To find a friendship, and feel connected to others, is at the heart of Rotary. Doing that is easy - just go to https://on.rotary.org/4fQVSh8.
From Scott's Visit to the Rotary Club of Chicago - August/2024
Scott enjoyed a recent visit to Chicago where he joined one of their Rotary Club's recent meetings at the Union League of Chicago! This was the world's very first Rotary Club, established in 1905. It was a pretty special opportunity!
