In 2023, we were joined by Joan Fisk, CEO of United Way Waterloo Region Communities, who shared her experiences with the United Way, and the exciting work that they have done here in Waterloo Region since their inception. They are a strong supporter of agencies and programs in our community through fundraising and other special events. These programs and services are locally focused, informed, connected, and deeply invested in helping people reach their full potential.
We're just putting a plug in for their 2nd annual "Golf for a Cause," being held on June 25, 2024, 9:30AM – 5:30PM, at the Whistle Bear Golf Club - 1316 Dickie Settlement Rd, Cambridge, ON N3H 4R8. Registration for four is $1,200. If you're a golfer and want to make an impact in our community, this is a way to do it - and have fun at the same time!
